¿Lacy?
Lacy: Ah ¿Que quieres cafe?
Y pecas no debe saber nada...

The good news is that Palm Springs vacation homes offers a wide range of neighborhoods, each with its unique charm and appeal. To help you find your perfect home away from home, here’s a guide to Palm Springs' most popular neighborhoods.
Downtown Palm Springs: Vibrant and Central
For visitors who love being in the heart of the action, downtown Palm Springs is the place to be. This lively area is home to a bustling collection of restaurants, cafes, shops, and art galleries. Whether you’re strolling along Palm Canyon Drive, taking in a show at the Palm Springs Theatre, or exploring the local farmers' market, there’s never a dull moment.

Old Las Palmas: Luxury and History
If you're seeking a more exclusive, historic neighborhood with a touch of glamour, Old Las Palmas is where you’ll find it. Located just minutes from downtown, this area is home to some of Palm Springs' most prestigious properties, many of which were once owned by Hollywood stars. The homes here feature classic Spanish Revival and mid-century designs, with expansive lawns, private pools, and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
Old Las Palmas is perfect for those who want a more serene and private retreat but still want easy access to downtown Palm Springs. The neighborhood’s tree-lined streets and vintage charm provide a peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for couples, families, or anyone looking for a luxurious desert getaway.
Racquet Club Estates: Mid-Century Modern Lovers’ Paradise
For architecture enthusiasts, Racquet Club Estates is an iconic neighborhood that showcases the best of mid-century modern design. Known for its distinctive architectural style, this area is filled with homes that have clean lines, expansive windows, and open floor plans that blend seamlessly with the desert landscape.
Racquet Club Estates is also perfect for those who want a more laid-back vibe while still being close to the heart of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is quiet, residential, and ideal for those seeking a more authentic, retro Palm Springs experience. Many homes here come with private pools, large outdoor patios, and fantastic mountain views.

The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to the action, making it a great place for those who want easy access to Palm Springs' attractions without the bustle of a downtown location.
Chino Canyon: Secluded and Scenic
For those looking for a more secluded and peaceful spot, Chino Canyon offers breathtaking views and a tranquil environment. Nestled in the northern part of Palm Springs, this neighborhood is quieter and less commercial, with fewer tourists around. The homes here are typically larger, offering privacy and space with dramatic views of the desert and mountains.
Chino Canyon is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, or birdwatching. Its remote feel offers a true desert escape, ideal for anyone seeking solitude and nature.

Ford is fine as was Emmanuelle Seigner, though I wonder if this could’ve used the eye of Brian De Palma rather than Polanski. **3.25/5** kevin2019: “Frantic” is an engrossing and well made film that easily builds up a genuine sense of mystery and intrigue from the very beginning. It is incredibly well crafted throughout with an immediately interesting opening gambit and Roman Polanski is a seasoned director and he knows precisely how to create a natural and rhythmic momentum to the proceedings and to then successfully maintain it at a certain level without any evidence of indecision on his part in terms of how the film ought to proceed in order to achieve its maximum potential and effectiveness. This results in a splendid film that effortlessly retains a compelling quality until the very end and it provides the perfect showcase for the romantic city of Paris even though it also makes you pause for thought about visiting there on Valentine’s Day.

Spain: The top five LGBTQIA+ places to visit
New Post has been published on https://qnews.com.au/spain-the-top-five-lgbtqia-places-to-visit/
Spain: The top five LGBTQIA+ places to visit
Spain has a rich history, a vibrant culture, and is one of the most LGBTQIA+ friendly destinations in the world. We’ve put together a list of the hottest queer destinations in the country for you to check out.
Each winter anyone with a social media account is bombarded with photos of summer holidays in the northern hemisphere.
While most of us shiver through the coldest months, friends post their snaps from Europe’s best beaches, cutest towns and hottest parties.
However, don’t worry, there is something you can do to stop this affliction: travel there yourself!
Europe has many great places to visit but Spain is the destination that people flock to in the hotter months from May to September.
Here are our top picks of places to visit:
Ibiza
There’s a reason the Vengaboys sang about Ibiza – it is the world’s party island!
It attracts some of the biggest international DJs to the planet’s most incredible nightclubs.
But it’s not just a party centre, Ibiza also has a charming Old Town (where the LGBTQIA+ nightlife is located) to hidden coves and beaches.
It’s the perfect destination to party at night and then chill or explore the next day.
Barcelona
Spain’s second-largest city has everything: amazing food, shopping, art and unique architecture.
The Eixample district is the city’s ‘gaybourhood’ with an array of bars, restaurants and boutique stores.
Kylie fans can also visit the Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc swimming pool to recreate the iconic music video to Slow.
There are also day trips galore with visits to nearby Girona, Montserrat, and Tarragona all available by public transport.
Sitges
Just down the road from the city is Europe’s leading gay beach destination – Sitges.
It’s just 40 mins from Barcelona and is a small city with hotels mainly within a 10-minute walk of the gay village.
The population explodes during summer with many international travellers and weekend visitors.
They’re drawn to the thriving scene, gay beach and picture-postcard cobbled streets to explore.
Madrid
Spain’s vibrant capital city is also one of Europe’s LGBTQIA+ metropolises.
The city’s ‘gaybourhood’ of Chueca features a choice of gay hotels, bars and cafes.
Madrid is also the country’s main transport hub.
It makes day or overnight visits to surrounding historic towns easy, like Avila (a fortified walled city), Segovia (famed for its ancient Roman aqueduct) and Cuenca (the town of hanging houses).
Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria is a spectacular volcanic island in the Atlantic Ocean and forms part of the Spanish Canary Islands.
With its warm and temperate climate, it is a holiday destination all year round.
In Maspalomas, you’ll find the iconic Yumbo Centre which is the hub of LGBTQIA+ nightlife on the islands.
Other highlights are Playa del Ingles and the famous Maspalomas Dunes.
The more adventurous should also check out Puerto de Mogan (the Little Venice of the island), Firgas (the city of water), as well as the island’s capital Las Palmas.
So whether you want to explore new places, party the night away or find yourself a local oso (that’s the local word for bear) Spain is the perfect destination.
Make 2024 your year to visit Spain! Visit spain.info to find out more, or speak to your travel agent.

- Si, no paran.

Vereda Anatoli.
